Summary

There are 125 tribal orphan children in a remote hilly area called Paderu in Visakha district, AndhraPradesh, India. The children are from impoverished backgrounds with no parents. They are being taken care of by a local organization. The temperatures go down to 32 F in December. Your support will provide mattresses, bed-sheets, blankets and sweaters to these children. It will protect their health and help them concentrate on studies and other activities.

Challenge

This project will help children deal with harsh winters in the Paderu area.

Solution

The children will be able to withstand the vagaries of harsh winter and be able to stay healthy. It will hep them concentrate on their studies and other activities.

Long-Term Impact

This project provides support to 125 children helping them break out of illiteracy and poverty. The project brings improvement of children's health, awareness of their rights and makes them more employable in the long run.
