Women in India were deprived of educational privileges for centuries.The right to education denied to women in rural areas still exists. “by a girl, by a young woman, or even by an aged one, nothing must be done independently’. There are many people who oppose girls’ education. They say that the proper sphere of girls is the home. So, they argue that the money spent on girl’s education is wasted. 

Investment in women and girls, is a proven path to reduce poverty.

Your support helped us to provide sewing training to 60 poor women and youth. They learned, how to stich blouses, petticoats, Shirts, pants etc. The poor women and youth are happy with your support and they are thanking you. Now they are confident to start self sewing business and feel safe. They said that with this self business, we can able to  earn to overcome the poverty.

One of our beneficiary said “My name is vimala.I am married and having two kids.My husband is a agricultural labor. With his meager income, we are unable run our family and unable to send our children to school.  I joined in CHHASE VTC sewing training.I completed my training after 3 months.  Now i am able to stich all types. Now I am confident to start my sewing business and can able to send my children to school without any difficulties. Thank you for giving a safe and secured life”
