We are raising $600 so we can provide English classes and study materials to 15 marginalized children. This will enable them to study English with us for one hour each day, learn living values once a week and participate in our library six days a week. By involving these children in our English classes they will be able to develop basic English skills and a good attitude. This will lead them to a positive improvement and be ready for their working lives.
20% of Cambodian people live below the poverty line. Most of the marginalized children in our community are given less opportunity to study in English classes because their parents are unable to afford to pay for their school fees. This will cause a big problem for their better future and led the circle of poverty in their families.
We provide free English classes to those children who have been living in poverty and support them with some study materials. With the funds will enable them to study English with us for one hour each day, learn living values once a week and participate in our library six days a week, so they will be able to develop basic English skills and a good attitude. This will lead them to a positive improvement and be ready for their working lives.
English knowledge is an essential step for their further education and employment. They will then move out of poverty bracket.
