Dear Project Supporters,
Thank you for your generous support that provided scholarships for students in need.
Kamawornie is a village in Northern Sierra Leone, Bombali District, Sella Limba Chiefdom. Many of the children in this chiefdom do not go to school - but rather work on the family farms. The villagers have no access to electricity and other social amenities, Most of the houses are grass and mud houses, with a few corrugated sheet homes.
Because of the poverty level, many kids drop out of school and end up working on the farms. Thank you for helping to change this by providing educational support for students interested in going to school.
Abie was delighted to receive a scholarship. She is in class 2 (2nd grade), her favorite subject is English, she enjoys reading and would like to be a politician when she grows up.
Ibrahim was also thrilled to receive a scholarship. He is also in class 2, his favorite subject is Physical Health Education, he also enjoys reading and would like to be a doctor when he grows up.
Thank you again for your support that is helping provide an opportunity to transform the lives of kids like Abie & Ibrahim. You are helping provide quality educational opportunities for more kids and youths so that they can rise above poverty and have a better future.
With great appreciation,
The Develop Africa Team
