Malnutrition leads to health challenges among the children that may lead to severe physical and brain damage and increased illiteracy levels thereby endangering the future of future generations.
The project will solve the food crisis by providing daily nutritious lunches to 80 disadvantaged children for the next six months to enable them to study without interruption. Provision of daily meals will facilitate to improvement in school performance and less dropouts.
The project through sensitization will mark our long term plan of laying a foundation of working with the community and the school management to get involved in school garden program where the school will grow its own food for food security and sustainability. The school garden will be a training ground for the children to be involved in agriculture for food security.
