A medical Centre has been established by the Customs Health Care Soceity in the beautiful valley of Bamboreet, Kalash which is located in far flung mountaneous areas of Pakistan. This area is often hit by natural disasters like floods and earthquakes. Most of the people living in this area belong to one of the oldest community, Kalash which has their own old culture and traditions. The medical centre established by Customs Health Care Society is providing free medical facilities to the Kalash Community for last one year. Besides the medical facilities relief goods like tents, tarpaulins, winter clothes like quilts and jackets are also being provided from time to time. Though this project was posted on the Global Giving four months ago and it was not able to attract donors, but the work in respect of providing medcial and relief facilities to the Kalash Community are continuing.
