Computer Training Lights a Fire in The Eyes and Hearts of Girls

By Sylvester Renner | President and Project Leader

All smiles as she learns
All smiles as she learns

15 girls, primary school pupils at the FAWE school, were delighted to be beneficiaries of the computer training that your support helped provide.  For all 15 girls, this was their first on-going exposure to computers and computer training.  This would not have been possible without your support!  You saved the day and made this possible!

Providing this training is ground-breaking and image-reshaping for these girls. They are coming to terms with the fact that they are special and deserve this quality access to computers and training.

It has been said that "Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." - William Butler Yeats.  As you can see from the photos - there is a fire in the eyes of the children as they learn.  YOU have helped to light this fire in their hearts and stir in them the love for learning.  For them, this learning is definitely exciting and fun!

The girls extend their deep appreciation and gratitude to you for this provision.  Thanks so much for your support!

You can see a thank you video from one of the girls - Mariama - here.

Thank you again for helping to make this vital training possible!

Providing this training involves on-going costs in terms of generator fuel, instructor compensation etc.  Could you help us continue to provide this essential training?

Your donation today of $25.00 will provide 4 more hours of training.  Thanks so much for your kind support - helping us keep the fire burning!
