Please Help Rescue Jade And TicTac

A microproject by Americans Overseas Domestic Violence Crisis Center

Jade traveled through Europe last year and decided to stay in Spain to learn Spanish and support herself by teaching English part time. She adopted a kitty she named TicTac. Jade began dating a man from Spain. In the beginning he was charming, attentive and sweet. He has slowly become so abusive Jade is in fear of her life. He has threatened to kill TicTac if she tries to leave and come back to the USA. We need $850 to get Jade and TicTac home.

Jade thought her life in Spain was going to be a wonderful adventure. The man she fell in love with is abusing her and threatening TicTac. He controls everything she does, won't let her continue Spanish lessons and takes her money. So many young American women want to travel the world and never expect they will be abused by the person they love. Jade just wants to come home with Tic Tac

$850 will get Jade home. We have the funds through our Protecting Pets project to get TicTac home.

Long-Term Impact

The project serves 500 women per year empowering them to find alternatives to a life of violence so their children grow up in violence free homes with their self-esteem in tact with the hope of stopping the cycle of violence in future generations.
