One especially happy kitty is Sonic. Sonic needed to flee abuse with human mom Lauren. She was desperate to get away from her husband's abuse but could not leave Sonic behind. Lauren needed to get Sonic to a veterinarian for an exam and a certificate of health, and secure an airline approved carrier.
Our email advocate Kate helped Lauren safety plan and arrange the veterinarian visit so she could leave the house one morning after her abuser left for work.
We arranged an airport approved carrier for Sonic and had it ready for Lauren to pick up on the way to the airport.
Sonic is so happy at grandma's house! It's puurrfect!
