We just helped Marcie escape from violence in Greece and come home with Sage. She is staying with her family temporarily but it is not safe. Her abusive husband knows where they live. We have have arranged for Marcie to go into a domestic violence shelter. The shelter does not allow pets. A family friend is willing to foster Sage for a cost of $15 a day while Marcie finds a place to live and get a job.
We successfully helped Marcie escape with her beloved Sage back to the USA from Greece. Now Marcie needs to foster Sage for one month while she goes into a domestic violence shelter since she is afraid her abusive husband will come to her families home. Marcie is already looking for a job and a place to live so Safe can join her in their new, safe home.
Safe will be safe in the foster home and Marcie will be safe in shelter. Once Marcie gets a job and an apartment, Marcie and Sage will be able to live together, safely at home in the USA. They can finally leave the terrible abuse behind them.
We will provide services to 150 American victims with pets in approximately 50 countries while they are fleeing violence. Our goal is to have all of them reach safety with their pets and live their lives without violence in their homes.
