The Rescue Center houses over 50 children in a communal setting. These children are recovering from extreme malnutrition, starvation, and other medical challenges. This project will provide feeding supplies (plates, cups, bowls, spoons, etc) so that the babies and children have enough dishes.
By having enough feeding supplies, the nannies and caregivers can better care for the children. This means having enough bowls , spoons, etc to properly prepare meals and feed the children as they recover from malnutrition.
By having enough feeding utensils, the nannies and caregivers can feed the children more efficiently and effectively.
As our partner organizations in Haiti continue to have their basic needs solved, they are able to save funds and plan for future improvements in their care. This can mean adding educational programs, offering better healthcare, improved quality of food (more protein!) - all steps that set these babies up for long term survival and productive members of society.
