Brunel is the principal of the English in Mind Institute (EIM) in Port au Prince Haiti. Brunel has been working to help others for years, and EIM is the culmination of years of his work teaching English in Port au Prince. Brunel's inspiring dedication to helping his fellow community members learn English has one goal - to help them find work. In Port au Prince, if you can speak English you can find a job, and with a job comes a road out of poverty.

Jobs in Port au Prince are difficult to come by, yet there is actually a shortage of skilled labour in sections of the city. English is a sought after skill that opens doors to jobs, but most schools which teach English are too expensive for most Haitians. EIM teaches English for free, helping adults find work. However, as the school does not charge students, the students rely on donors like you to pay Brunel's salary and keep the school open.

By helping pay Brunel's salary, you'll allow this dedicated community leader to continue helping his students learn English and find work. Those students will take their new language skills and use them to find work, becoming more resilient and self-sufficient.

Long-Term Impact

By paying Brunel's salary, you'll allow him to teach English to hundreds of students. Those students will use their language skills to find work and a road out of poverty. The impact of Brunel's work will be felt by hundreds of families for years to come, and your donation will make those positive changes possible.
