For our students, wearing a uniform is a badge of honor. A girl in uniform means she is going to school and is on her journey to getting educated and becoming a leader.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised enough funds to make 140 new uniforms. We hired a local seamstress to make the uniforms, in order to empower a women entrepreneur from our community. 52 new students received uniforms and 48 returning students who had outgrown or torn their old ones received new ones. We have remaining funds to sew another 40 uniforms, which we will do as students require replacement uniforms.
