We are happy to share that, thanks to this campaign, we were able to fund one of our two solar panels needed for 'Asni 3' boarding house in the High Atlas in Morocco.
These solar heaters are an effective way to heat the water needed for 40 teenage girls- if you are a parent, you can probably imagine the amount of clothes, dishes and showers needed each day!
The solar heaters are cost effective and environmentally friendly, so investing in them really pays off over the ten years that they can withstand the harsh mountain climate.
We are grateful to everyone who donated towards this project so we can have clean energy at the EFA houses and set an example to the surrounding community! Thank you for making this possible.
