Rethinking Children's Play Spaces post COVID - Fin

We-elll... We didn't make the goal.  But not making the goal, and yes, even the COVID-19 pandemic has offered us an opportunities to pivot, re-think and yes re-imagine the challenges of physical spaces in a period of time when the world remains anything but physical.

Some of our ideations:

What would a spoke and hub model look like? Could we imagine many small Ker Imaginations spread out across Senegal?  How could this help us to achieve our mission of creating learning spaces for chldren across Senegal? Could we surpass12,000 children? What kind of sustainability might this offer the organization?

Yet we are VERY happy to report  that your heartfelt donations- offered at such a critical time for ALL of us - did contribute to our expansion into digital content.  We have since COVID-19 started, been producing a wonderful series of videos for parents and children.  These videos have had a combined impact of reaching more than  200,000 parents and children on social media and other digital platforms.     Next on our agenda is a television program for early learners (you can see a sneak preview here).  The program is aimed at developing literacy and numeracy skills in children 3 - 5 years old through play based learning.

We are so very grateful for your accompaniment.  Please find below our financial accounting for the project, but please do not hesitate to reach out to us at play@imaginationafrika.org for more information and of course follow us on social media.

With all our well wishes to stay safe and connected,

Thank You,
