Project Summary Report: Caring for Tiny Fighters
Diani Children’s Village | Little by Little Campaign – GlobalGiving
At Diani Children’s Village, our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for orphaned and abandoned children. As part of this mission, the Caring for Tiny Fighters micro-project was launched under the Little by Little Campaign on GlobalGiving, with the goal of raising $5,000 to support critical medical care for our most vulnerable children, particularly premature babies and those with severe health challenges.
While we did not reach our full fundraising target, the generosity of our donors enabled us to make a meaningful impact in several key areas:
Specialized Physiotherapy: Several premature babies received targeted physiotherapy sessions that supported their motor development and improved physical milestones. These sessions were essential in giving these children a stronger start in life.
Essential Nutritional Support: With the funds raised, we were able to ensure a steady supply of multi-vitamins and immune-boosting supplements. This played a vital role in enhancing the children’s immunity, supporting growth, and reducing the incidence of recurrent illnesses.
Medical Transport & Logistics: The project also covered the costs of emergency medical transport and logistical support, allowing for timely access to healthcare facilities. This was especially critical in ensuring early interventions and reducing complications from delayed treatment.
This project has shown that even modest contributions can have a profound impact on children’s lives when used efficiently and strategically. Early medical intervention not only improves health outcomes but also reduces long-term treatment costs and enables the children to thrive in a supportive, well-monitored environment.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters and donors who helped make this possible. Your contribution has brought hope and healing to our little fighters.
Together, we are giving these children a better chance at life.
