Our fundraising for Marleny on GlobalGiving did not raise enough to fund her internship. The money donated will be put into the intern fund and when we reach our goal, it will be used to support internships. As we haven't been able to offer Marleny an internship, she has contracted to work in Canada for six months as she could not find work in Guatemala. This will take her away from her family and she will not be able to begin work in her career. We will continue fundraising and look forward to meeting our goal, so we will be able to offer Marleny an internship when she returns.
