Help Fund our Mass Spay/Neuter Program. Our 2025 goal is sterilizing 1500 dogs, 300 more than 2024. We just completed our first camp from March 5 - 25th where we sterilized 400 dogs. Help us cover the costs of the camp and more! Sterilization program for street dogs not only helps the health of the dog, but it ends the unnecessary suffering of unwanted puppies. Each dog also receives a rabies vaccine preventing deaths of both people and animals. .
At DAR we are working to reduce the human/street dog conflict by stabilizing the street dog population through spay/neuter programs and eradicate rabies deaths in humans through mass rabies vaccination and education.
This program is the cornerstone of improving the lives of boths dogs in our community. Less dogs means less conflict and less suffering.
By upping the number of dogs we spay/neuter/vaccinate each year - we have a greater chance of stabilizing population and lowering rabies risk. In addition, it will improve the welfare of the street dog population: less dogs means more food, less accidents, illnesses, abuse, and death.
