Let's keep food on 480 children's plates in Kenya

Kathryn. cares and shares - and the children enjoyed a wonderful meal through this awesome and generous donation for a meal on Monday, October 23rd. There were miles of smiles when they sat down to a plate filled with vegetables, rice  and a fresh mango. Thank you so much for your generous donation Kathryn. It really made a difference. It's not only having a meal on their plates - it is also the knowledge that somebody cares - somebody who doesn't even know them. That will stick in their minds and guide them into a caring future!

It is not always easy to feed all of the hungry children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International program. As we are a small organization doing big things, we fully depend on private donations in order to get our work done in the slums of Nakuru, Kenya. Sending so many children to school, keeping them fed and medically fit and off the streets is a daily challenge. But it is a challenge worth taking. Especially when you see the huge smiles on the faces of children who would more than likely have ended up begging in the streets - or worse. So we are more than thankful for every donation!
