Dear Friends,
Thank you for your support in our mission to get JuJu the Eye Health Care he desperately needs.
After seeing the Optomestrist and getting JuJu into a scripted pair of glasses with light sensitive changing lenses to protect his eyes from the sun, we booked our appointment with one of the only Corneal Transplant Surgeons in the Western Cape.
Thankfully, JuJu does not need a Corneal Transplant at the moment as it could do more damage than good. However, he has been placed on Medicated drops in order to try shrink his Corneal Dermoid, as well as lubricating drops to help ease any discomfort.
We have a follow up appointment with this Doctor in the week to come, where we will find out if theres any improvement and shrinkage.
In the meantime, we want to thank you for making this visit to the Doctor possible. We are forever grateful for your selfless contribution to improve this young man's life and help him get the Eye Health Care he needs.
