Thank you for your support in easing the debt burden for one of the young men in our Rwandan community. Around the world, education comes at a price which many students carry a debt well past their graduation. Ishimwe graduated from university in 2015, and still faces a debt of $4000 USD. His wages as a law clerk are under $200 a month. We had hoped to reduce that debt through this micro-project but we couldn't meet the goal within the 90 day timeframe. $145 USD were raised and the sum will be paid directly to the University of Rwanda to pay down Ishimwe's loan.
He thanks each of you as do all of us at Rwanda-one4one, for easing that debt burden.
