Thank you to everyone who donated to our microloan project. We have put the money into the loan pool where it is available for loans for the women in Chumanzana and Santa Clara la Laguna. They are appreciative of your help especially during this difficult time.
In Santa Clara the women are continuing to run their small businesses that depended on loans to get started. Sales are down as people who would be their clents are affected by the need to quarentine.
In Chumanzana the women are affected by lack of clients, too. Many of the businesses that they depended on to buy seed to grow vegetables in their gardens are closed. Those who support themselves by weaving also cannot sell what they make.
Knowing that they have your support is a morale booster. Everything is possible with a little help from a FRIEND!
