Thank you so much for donating to our microproject to raise funds for 12 new stainless steel cages for our cats and fund a dedicated cat nurturer’s salary for a year. We had a fantastic start with over £2,000 raised in the first week!
Unfortunately we did not reach our target during the three months of the microproject’s run, but with your donations and a few offline contributions, we have raised enough to purchase 9 new cages for the rescued cats we care for. This will make a huge difference to the lives of the sick and injured cats we admit to the hospital. The new cages (we are still awaiting delivery!) will be set up in our cat house so all our felines will be together. The sickest cats will have privacy and hygienic accommodation which will benefit their recovery.
We still hope to find sponsorship for a specialist cat nurturer who can give the cats individual attention, play and grooming. We are very excited about being able to improve the facilities available to our sick and injured cats.
