The timely support of warm blanket to 500 target beneficiaries i.e. old age persons, single women, will save from the severe coldness and ultimately save their lives. The organization focus on improving the status of these vulnerable target group through providing timely support of warm blanket. It would make them safe from the hard cold in winter season and give an opportunity to sustain life with dignity. They will be able to do their day to day livelihood work by own.
In Bihar (India) there is very severe cold in winter season. It highly affects the vulnerable and poorest of the poor i.e old age persons, single women etc. They hardly get any support from community and govt.. It ultimately leads death cases in hard winter days due to lack of warm cloths and care. They urgently require warm clothing i.e. blanket to prevent from death due to hard cold. They live a very hard and miserable life in winter season.
The project will provide 500 financially needy families affected by 4 months of cold weather with blankets so that the most venerable targets like single women and elderly will be protected from diseases associated with the cold climate. The ultimate solution is to provide timely providing of warm blanket to these target beneficiaries i.e. old age persons, single women, to save from the severe coldness and ultimately save their lives. It would make them safe from the hard cold in winter season
500 families will be protected from the cold and kept from the ill-effects of cold weather on their health, especially the single women and the elderly. This will reduce financial and emotional burdens on the bread winner in the families. It will save the lives of old age persons and single women and make them free for fulfilling life emergency needs in the hard winter season. It will also improve their status and confidence level to live a dignified life.
