We are raising funds for the costs of the housing that we provide for the women that want to leave prostitution in Pattaya. Most women do not have a place to stay once they leave the bars and because of that we offer the accommodation for free until the women start working. Our goal this year is to raise 9000 USD to help cover the expenses for all housing related costs. Would you be willing to help provide safe accommodation and shelter for the women that want to leave prostitution?
Safe housing will give the women an opportunity for a start into their new lifes. Often they stay in shared accomodations at the brothels or sex clubs that they work in or places that are provided by the bars and have no other place to stay or finances to get their own place. But in order for them to change their life, they need a home base, a safe place where they can rest in order to be ready for new jobs and new education.
Through offering each woman their own room and shared kitchen and living room we give them a chance to step out of their old life and start a new one without having to worry about the basic human need of shelter.
Our goal for the women is to leave Pattaya, maybe return to their families and to have a normal life outside of the sex industry. We will train the women job skills and help them to find employment or help them to start their own small business so that they can provide for themselves and their children. Also, when they return to their families, they will help to prevent other young girls and boys to start a work in the sex industry.
