The children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International NGO program come from families living in incomprehensible poverty. For lack of funds, it is literally impossible for parents/guardians to buy special food and gifts for their children.
The children on the Live and Learn in Kenya International NGO program and their families will receive holiday funds. The donations are specifically for food and soap for these familes that the parents/guardians will turn into a holiday feast - your Holiday Joy Package for them.
The poorest of the poor also have a right to feel the special joy of the holiday season. Experiencing the joy of being cared about and not forgotten has a lasting impact on their future and their self-confidence. We want to give the children - and their families - a reason to hold their heads up high and be proud citizens of their society.
