To prevent the violence against women in India, in the month of November 2015, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the coordination of Global Giving Foundation, has organised a workshop for dalit women and girls. 42 dalit women and girls participated in the workshop. The experts discussed and guided the women and girls about prevention of violence against women, child marriage, domestic violence, purda system, and their rights to fight against violence.
42 dalit women were encouraged by the organisation of the workshop. 32 years old Rajni shared her experiences with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan in the workshop as -
I feel so good in "Workshop against women violence". I have come to know very first about my rights in the constitution. By getting all these information and with the help of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, I am able to fight against the outrage. Global Giving Foundation and the donors are eligible to be saluted for the organisation of this noble event. By organising these sort of events will boost up the confidence level of dalit community and other backward sectors and the violence against women will be tailed off all over India.
