Asociación Grupo de Trabajo Redes is a non-profit organization, whose main objectives are to ensure the rights of Domestic Workers, that Law No. 31047 Law of the Domestic Worker and the eradication of Labor is complied with. Domestic Child (TID).
One of AGTR's desires is to have its own house, a space that serves as a meeting place for Domestic Workers (TdH), where they share their experiences and to be able to offer different training workshops that help them empower themselves both in the personal and the work.
As well as the workshops carried out by girls at risk of working in a house, in the district of San Juan de Miraflores, where they learn the risks they face when carrying out tasks that must be assumed by an adult.
Since its foundation, AGTR has been located in different districts of Lima such as Lince, Jesús María, La Victoria, Surquillo and currently in Magdalena del Mar.
AGTR, with little money from its own funds, was faced with the need to locate a low-cost office for rent that had basic services in a commercial area where an operating license could be obtained to serve Domestic Workers.
The search was carried out in different districts of Lima, but after the pandemic, the demand for office rentals has increased and a small office was rented in the district of Magdalena del Mar.
Comparing rental prices with the previous office, the savings are in electricity, water and office maintenance.
The expenses for the move have been made in maintenance payments (6 months), excise taxes (2 installments), moving service, rental of premises (one month plus one month guarantee), maintenance of premises, mobility for searching for premises, Public Records, cleaning supplies, office conditioning.
We thank you for supporting us with your donation, which made the office change possible.
