Thanks to the donations from each and every donor - we were able to Be Santa for the special children at the Nourish center. Each little child at the Nourish kindergarden received a prezzie filled with useful goodies such as facecloth and soap, hygiene items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, and then clothes, a toy, and a candy. Their presents were delivered, along with a subtle conservation message by a big Mr Elephant. Amidst squeals of laughter, and much much excitement, our children celebrated the most special day. It was such a privelege to see the happy faces - of children for whom we have made Christmas possible! Thanks to you all! We also shopped for and wrapped presents for over 30 children who come from the local rural village to our library, from 6 year old little girls and boys getting their own paint sets and soccer balls, through to teens - this was such a special day for all. A huge warm meal, family attending, even the chief of the village attending. A day of love, and laughter - and isnt this really what Christmas is all about.
So THANK YOU! For helping us make this possible!
