This micro project provides Android phones to poor children to attend online classes during lockdowns. CHHASE has surveyed during March, 2021 lockdowns, there were almost all poor children are not able attend the online classes because their parents are not able to buy one to provide to their children to attend the online class. Now due to Omicron & covid19 spread lockdown imposed again. We have volunteers to collect used cell phones, which need repairs, replacing some parts or batteries.
Parents are not able to buy cell phone to provide to their children to attend the online class. Due to lockdowns, the parents lost their work and suffering even to provide food to their families. By seeing the critical position, we are aiming to provide 150 cell phones at present stage to poor children to attend the online class.
This micro project provides 150 Android phones to poor children to attend online classes during lockdowns. By providing a used cell phone, the child can attend online class without any break and their studies will continue well. This provision will give them better learning and will lead to success in future.
CHHASE serves students from 1st grade through 12th grade and supports them to reach their full academic potential, prepare for college, and in turn give their time and talents back to their communities. We partner with parents, teachers, and the community to address the comprehensive education needs of our children and advocate for healthy families.
