This project will help Swapna pursue Electronics Engineering in Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology. She comes from a very poor tribal family. She lost her father when she was an infant. Her mother is a laborer. Your support will help her pursue the four-year Engineering program. The project will also provide food, education, clothing, books, stationery to help her academics.
Swapna's father passed away in an accident when she was an infant. She came to Sphoorti when she was 7. After working hard in High School, Swapna got admission in Sreenidhi Engineering College. As she has no support from family and relatives, she needs your support to pursue Undergrad course in Electronics Engineering. The College is one of the best in the state. At the same time, the fees are on the higher side.
This project solves the problem by providing Swapna comprehensive care, shoes, bags, uniforms, lunch box, travel costs, health care and required material to study well. Most importantly, it will provide her financial resources to pursue Engineering. The total cost is Rs 45,000 (tuition) + Rs 40000 (living expenses) a year.
The project will provide education to 250 first generation school going girls and help them attain high school education at the least. Beneficiaries who complete school to secondary level are supported with higher education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment. About 150 families (750 people) will be direct and indirect beneficiaries of this initiative.
