Hello everybody!
Thank you very much for taking part in funding the Tamar Vocational and Life Training 2019. Right now, we are at the halfway point of the Training. The women are doing good. There are the usual ups and downs and some of them are struggling with family issues, issues that forced most of them into prostitution in the first place. We are doing some more counseling with two of the women as they are suffering the most and hoping that they will find healing.
But mostly we are very encouraged with this group. The women are attentive to the training, listening well and doing a great job in the vocational training. Especially the Bakery Training is going amazing – as we have only one student there, she is picking up things much faster than other women before her. Yesterday she made her first strawberry cake on her own. The Hairdressing Training is also going well – six students in there and it seems that they are changing hairstyle and hair color every single day – they practice with each other and with all the other women that are at Tamar.
We are looking forward to the next half of the Training and hope to the see the women continuing to recover and get better and hope that they will be able to turn their lives completely around. Thank you for making this training possible for them!
