This micro project will help cover the cost of medicines for 4000 poor patients at our rural centre in Swarupnagar. This will allow the patients to receive free medicines for a week which they otherwise wouldn't be able to afford.
Residents of Swarupnagar fall in the lowest strata of Indian society. They do not have access to quality health care services from other sources since government hospitals are few and private hospitals non-existent. This project will provide them access to life-saving services.
This project will cover the cost of medicines for over 4000 patients visiting the centre at a month so that they can receive the medicines for free. We collect quality medicines at reasonable prices and give them to our patients free of cost as prescribed by our doctors.
The project will stop the dominance of quacks and work as complimentary body to the government hospitals where there is a huge out pour of patients affecting deliverance of quality medical facility. Through our service delivery model increased awareness regarding taboos related to diseases will be addressed thus leading knowledge about various diseases. It has been found that that our centres hugely facilitate the growth of local economy besides an improvement in the local transport.
