Many students in Sierra Leone struggle to complete college papers because they do not have a laptop. Today, access to computers is a must for college success. When students have their own laptops, they are able and empowered to complete their assignments/papers in a timely manner. This project will provide 30 college and college prep students with a refurbished laptop - boosting their chances of academic success.
Access to a computer or a laptop is critical for the academic progress of students globally. Particularly over the course of the last year, more course content and distance learning are now taking place online. The learning of African students that do not have access to laptops was negatively affected. Access to a laptop can be a true game-changer - deciding between whether a student is promoted or repeats a course/year.
We will provide the needed education tool - laptops which are absolutely necessities for college success. Your support will boost their chances of success - by providing them with the vital learning tool that they need. With laptops, the students will be able to do their classwork and homework. This will also enhance their computer proficiency preparing them for success in today's computer-driven society.
The project will provide the crucial support that students need to succeed in college. With this, they will be empowered to work on papers and advance their education.
