Families with limited funds to educate their children focus on sending their boys to school, and many girls who start school drop out because their parents cannot afford to continue to pay for their education. Dorcas' education no longer has the support of her parents who died due to the Ebola epidemic. This project will provide a full scholarship for Dorcas covering her tuition, books, school supplies, exams, and related school expenses.
Funds from this project will help Dorcas complete her basic education and prepare her to start college next year. Your support will help provide all she needs to be successful in school and help her work toward her goal of becoming an accountant.
Your support will help Dorcas to finish school, become independent and self-sufficient. In her chosen future career as an accountant, she will also be contributing to national development. Healthy, well-educated and emancipated women are an excellent foundation for a new and free society.
