3000 saplings have been planted in project area. Students and fishermen are involved in the plantation program. 4 Hactare of Kaodiyakadu coastal areas are planted by Mangroves. Already saplings whose saplings are prodcued in four nurseries of ROSI.
Rosi Foundation is motivation farmers, students and coastal communities on existing mangroves conservation and new planting coastal areas.
Already Nursery for mangroves is being promoted in four spots in Coastal of Tamil Nadu (Bay Bengal). Each nursery will deliver 12500 Mangroves saplings in every year that 100000 will be planted. In four years 400000 Mangroves will be planted and maintained.
