Mabinty lives in the Upper Mellon Street area, in the Wellington community, a suburb of Freetown. She has completed senior secondary school and has a diploma in Business Management. With meager funds saved, she has started a business retailing agricultural produce brought down from the provinces. She would love to grow her business by buying larger quantities - and this microproject will help Mabinty do just that - expand her business.
This project will address the youth opportunity gap by providing the needed funds for Mabinty to expand her agricultural produce business. Her business is at the infancy stage due to limited funds. Together we can change that! This project will address the limitation by giving her the "booster shot" and "hand up" that she needs through the project funds. This funds will enable her to expand her business and get off to an excellent start.
This microproject will solve the problem of financial insolvency by providing the needed funds for Mabinty to expand her business. With the donated funds, she will be able to buy a larger stock of agricultural produce, in wholesale quantities. This will provide her with a purchase discount and larger profits - just what she is longing for.
Project will enable Mabinty to move from making barely enough to meet her basic needs (living from hand to mouth) to a point where she will expand and possibly even provide employment - contributing to national development. With the funds provided she will be come self-sufficient.
