These are Eva and Estefano. Eva works as a nurse in the pharmaceutical area of the Torata town´s hospital, located on the outskirts of the city of Moquegua in Peru. Due to COVID-19, Eva has to take care of patients that have tested positive and run tests for the presumed cases.
Eva usually stays in the hospital for two weeks and then goes home for 7 days so she can spend time with Estefano, her son. For her, it is important to keep a close relationship with him, which is why she video calls him every day.
Estefano dreams about becoming a pilot; when he had doubts about his homework, his mother used to help him out. Although they are away from each other, instead of demotivating himself, he sees his mother´s commitment to her job as a positive example and has taken the reins of his education. Today, he's putting more effort into being responsible and getting the best out of his education.
Eva is very proud of Stefano´s capabilities and discipline. That’s why she encourages him to keep studying and, whenever possible, will help him with his studies and goals so he can achieve his dreams.
In Peru, there are many talented and dedicated children like Estefano waiting for your support to fulfill their dreams. By donating to Peru Champs, you allow more children to receive a world-class education and become future leaders regardless of any situation.
