Juan is a 9 year old kid that lost his leg on november 2011. He lives in the municipality of Puerto Berrio in Antioquia, one of the most affected towns by violence and armed conflict in Colombia. While he was at a bakery with his mother and grandmother the guerrilla threw a granada inside the bakery, in this attack his grandmother died and Juan lost a leg. Due to this lost he and his mother faced really difficult times and is really complicated for him to move around by himself and go to school.

He will start living again the life violence took away and together they will overcome this life proof. With an artificial leg Juan will grow with no back issues, and will develop properly in a physicall and psychological way.
This project will help 60 children in Colombia that lost their legs, by donating prosthesis, giving them the chance to have ther life back, giving independence and the possibility of walking again. We will improve their life quaity and conditions by giving physical rehabilitation and helping them to return to their daily activities like study and playing.
