We are beyond excited to share with you Jessica' smile and her hapiness! Thanks to your help Jessica can now walk to school, play with her friends and dream about going to her first school dance!
Jessica is a sweet and studious girl that lives in Malambo, a small town in the northern region of Colombia. She was born without a leg due a shinbone defect and has been using a protheses since she was a a little girl, but she outgrew her artificial leg and has been using crutches to move around. With your help Mahavir Kmina provided her a new protheses, now she can be independent and reach her full potencial.
Thanks to your generosity, Jessica can now regain her confidence and walk to school everyday. She will be able to play sports and integrate with her friends, improving her sense independence, self-worth and healthy development.
We hope Jessica's smile iluminates your heart as it did ours, please tell your friends and family about our work so we can help more children like Jessica, find more projects here.
Thank you!
