Dear donors
Jacinta is a mother of three children: Favour, Emmanuella, and Manuella. She has been one of our beneficiaries under the Keep a Girl alive Project for 9 months now. After receiving her first grant, she decided to start a small shop and things were moving well. Though at some point she had to use her profits for the hospital bills of a relative. She later struggled to manage the little that was left. After receiving the second grant thanks to you donors, she got involved in food business selling at the roadside where road construction was going on, the business was progressing, she started making some extra profits but it later on dropped as the road construction ended and the workers moved.
Unfortunately for her, all the support she used to get from the father of one of her children stopped coming. ”Everything is on me now”.
She had to struggle on her own to stand strong despite the fact that things were very difficult for her and her children
She has now gotten back into banana business and things are going well. She can now better take care of herself and her children single-handedly. “ I want to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to all what you have done for me, I see myself doing things I could never do, once again thank you”
Thanks to your donations, she received two business grants, and later on a loan. She is looking forward to extending her business. She dreams of building a two-room house for her and her children and also wants to learn a trade (designing).
