Francie was working in the Netherlands when she met her husband. Just a few months into the relationship Francie became pregnant with Amelia. Her husband changed after that. He became moody and insulting. After she gave birth he was better, for a while. In the past few months the abuse has escalated. He even threatens to kill Amelia's pet Blinky Bunny. Last week, after he hit Amelia, Francie called us and asked us to help her escape home.
Francie needs to get back to the USA with Amelia to escape the abuse. Last week Amelia could not stop crying, hugging Blinky Bunny, and repeating to Francie "dada hut (hurt) me!" Francie knows Amelia will never leave Blinky Bunny behind, and if they do, her abuser may kill the bunny. We found an airline that will accept to have Blinky Bunny in the cabin under the seat. We need $900 to fly Francie & Amelia home and a small cage for Blinky Bunny.
Francie will be able to flee home to the safety of her parents house with Amelia and Blinky. Having Blinky will help Amelia adjust to her new home. She still loves her dada but Francie will not accept Amelia growing up with abuse.
