We have been getting your valuable generous support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from the core of our heart.
Sparrow, the bird gets us mesmrized with its melodious chirping, is now at the edge of extinction. The bird is a friend of man and the courtyards of our homes are its habitat, but due to the development of multi-storey buildings and urbanizations it has lost the habitat subsequently the population of sparrow has decreased up to the edge of extinction.
For the conservation and rehabilitation of the innocent bird, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the financial support of GlobalGiving Foundation, has installed eco-friendly nests at many placed. The organization has installed 25 eco-friendly nests under the program at several places as temples, schools, office buildings. The common people also supported to install the nests and contributed for the program. Our activists look after the installed nests. The passer-byes see the nests and appreciate the effort.
Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation, organized a workshop for the conservation of sparrow last time which has a significant impact. Being inspired from the initiative, local people installed the nests on their level and contributed for the motive. Sparrow has rehabilitated in most of the nests and start breeding to increase its population. Now, its chirping can be heard in the surroundings once again. All localites praised the efforts of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and GlobalGiving Foundation. Our activist had conversation with one of the localites who told that one the region was full of trees and plants where sparrow was highly populated, but due to urbanization, we rarely saw a sparrow in the past few years. Now, the efforts made by the organization made our surroundings same as earlier.
