In Tanzania, LGBTQ+ individuals face severe legal and social challenges. Same-sex sexual acts are criminalized, creating a climate of fear and violence. Many are rejected by their families, leading to a high rate of homelessness. These vulnerable individuals are deprived of a place to stay and lose access to basic needs like education and healthcare. The lack of legal protection against discrimination exacerbates their precarious situation.
