We are providing an integral education to youth from the disadvantaged community of Bajo de los Anonos in Costa Rica because we want all of our adolescents to stay at school, learn new skills and have better values to build a better future for themselves and their families, breaking the poverty cycle they are part of. But we need YOUR HELP!
There are around 30 adolescents who could be wasting their time after school and starting to get involved with drugs or narco traffic, but instead, they are spending their free time at Lifting Hands, learning new skills and dreaming about a life project.
Lifting Hands provides a community home where everyone can come after school to receive technology, cooking, art, sports, and other classes to develop life skills and have a better education.
The project will give the skills and possibilities to around 230 people to break the poverty cycle.
