When Sadie's mom emailed our crisis email she was distraught. She had endured years of abuse from her husband and now he was directing his rages towards Sadie.
She was not going to let this continue and was willing to do anything to save her daughter.
Our crisis email advocate was able to help Sadie's mom understand all of her options and potential outcomes, connect her with additional resources, safety plan their escape and provide emotional support.
It took several weeks of careful planning but finally they were able to fly home to the safety of the USA.
Sadie's mom has a long way to go to secure their life back home. But without you, they would have never been able to take the critical step of getting back to safety.
