Since this project was funded in mid-January you have already helped two battered American mothers with childcare!
Stephanie needed help with child care for her son Jacob after fleeing her abusive husband in Jamaica. With your donations she was able to put Jacob into child care two days a week for one month. The other three days Stephanie's mother is able to take care of Jacob while Stephanie works. After the month is over she will be able to sustain the other two days herself.
Bree escaped Bolivia and was able to put her daughter Jadine into child care for one week while she successfully interviewed for jobs. Bree was also able to connect with a single-mothers child care exchange group and will be able to barter child care with other moms.
