Splashtastic news! You did it!

By Emily Cochrane | Project Leader

A splashtastic doggie thank you!
A splashtastic doggie thank you!

We are absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to all your generous donations, we have successfully raised enough funds to purchase the specialised mange bath and more!

We are incredibly grateful for your support; the total amount raised including match funding and gift aid was an impressive £2,239. This funding will allow us to acquire the mange bath and stock up on essential treatment supplies. What a wonderful achievement—thank you!

We will be taking delivery of the mange bath at the end of the month, and we can tell you that we are very excited for its arrival! We know this will make a huge difference for our staff and the animals suffering with mange that we treat.

With the additional funds you raised, we have also been able to acquire protective waterproof clothing for our team and replenish our supply of antiparasitic formula to tackle mange.

Right now, we are being buffeted by heavy monsoon rains. Every day is a challenge in these conditions. As far as mange treatment goes, these are the weeks when we cannot bathe our mange patients. It is so wet that our focus has to be on keeping the dogs dry and warm, especially vulnerable dogs like the ones with mange. So, we are patiently waiting for drier days to resume the mange treatment baths, this time with our new specialised bath!

Your support for this project will have a lasting positive impact on the lives of our staff and the animals they care for. That is truly an extraordinary accomplishment!

Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity.
