Your donations in December helped Arial and Blue come home! Zoe had to delay their escape after her abusive husband hid Arial's American passport in January. We were able to work with Zoe for several weeks gathering evidence of abuse and get the documentation submitted to the American Embassy to advocate that a new passport be issued for Arial. We were finally successful.
Zoe send this in an email to us: "I thought we would never get out of Spain. Blue is not just a pet for Arial. He is her protector, her best friend, her constant companion, her security blanket, her therapy dog: Blue is everything to Arial. My gratitude for your help is beyond the moon and the stars."
