268 vulnerable children from Aku Community in southeastern Nigeria are unable to attend school due to unpaid enrollment fees and lack of basic school uniforms. This micro-project will cover school enrollment and provide uniforms, enabling these children to return to the classroom with dignity and hope.
Years of insecurity and displacement in Aku Community have left many families struggling to meet basic needs. Education has become a luxury. Children who should be learning are instead at risk of dropout, child labor, and early marriage simply because their parents cannot afford school enrollment fees or uniforms. Without urgent support, 268 children may permanently lose access to education.
This micro-project will remove two key barriers to education by, paying school enrollment/registration fees and providing basic school uniforms for each child By addressing these immediate needs, children can return to school fully enrolled, properly dressed, and ready to learn.
By keeping children in school, this project breaks the cycle of poverty, conflict, and hopelessness in Aku. Educated children are more likely to grow into empowered adults who contribute positively to their communities. This initiative will plant seeds of resilience and peace that last beyond the crisis.
